In his YouTube video, “Life is not a soul trap, it’s a loving creation”, Frederick Dodson says, “Evil is like a small cup of water compared to the tsunami of goodness that is overwhelming the universe.”
The idea of a “tsunami of goodness” inspired me to envision and create “Soul’s Passion and the separate self” for our Bea Ma Healing and Soulful Relating library. The collage is a contemplative tool to remind us that we are three: a passionate Soul, a separate self, and the one who is witnessing and experiencing the two in relationship. How long have they been chasing and running from each other? Will they ever come together?

The separate self consists of many wounded—and wounding—parts of self that got traumatized and split off during childhood. They operate independently—outside of your conscious control—and lead to repetitive patterns of feeling hurt and hurting others in relationships.
How are wounded and wounding parts of self trying to control and protect your existence, keeping you from living?
Witnessing the separate self “running” is calling to become more conscious of how we love and how we receive love when we feel separate.
What would it feel like to turn around and experience the Power of your Soul’s all-encompassing Love? What does “the separate self” need from you (the witnessing self) to turn around and receive it ?
What would it feel like to be the tsunami of Soul’s Love and “love the separate self to death”?
Here’s a way you can use the image as a healing/taaching tool:
Like when you become lucid in a dream and can influence the dream ego to turn around and face the monster that was feared before, you can influence how the a separate self in you will behave. Fully own and empower that part.to turn around and face the tsunami of goodness and love.
Make sure that part stays aware that you (the compassionate witness) are there. Witnessing.
Once unafraid to face Love, Love tends to meet and greet you just where you are.
