Soul’s Story

Another one already surrendered.
We are Soul’s many faces waking up to Her presence on earth. She, on the other hand, is already awake and knows each of us intimately.
Who is this mysterious Presence that flows through all of us simultaneously? Are we conscious of Her presence? After all, we are the ones who are writing and living Her Story.
The Soul can only make a difference in your life when you are conscious of Her and treat each moment accordingly. Her presence and influence can be experienced, when your body is relaxed and your mind is open. Sensing Her presence and influence, parts of yourself that haven’t felt safe enough to relax can now relax and be open, resulting in feeling seen, heard, felt and deeply cared for.
Somatic healing practices open us to experience the Soul and Her integrative dance with the creative Spirit which is always there, in and with us, moment to moment. Our conscious participation in this dance can and will stop us from repeating history.
What awakening artists, mystics and healers have in common is that they listen to what Donald Kalsched calls in Trauma And The Soul “the vital spark in us that ‘wants’ to incarnate in the empirical personality but needs help from supportive persons in the environment to do so.” Please meet a few teachers and story tellers who I believe are good listeners:

May we all experience Soul’s presence and influence before internalized programs use us to prove that we actually have the power to permanently destroy peaceful co-existence on earth.
“If we want there to be peace in the world,
we have to be brave enough to soften
what is rigid in our hearts, to find the soft spot
and stay with it. We have to have that kind of courage
and take that kind of responsibility.
That’s the true practice of peace”
—Pema Chödrön, Practicing Peace in Times of War
